• During my tenure with this family, I provided a consistent caring environment for their four children (18 mon-12yrs). The family was in transition because of Social service involvement, that continued after family successfully completed program requirements. • I reinforced parental competence and helped find strategies that fit this family unique needs in dealing with the emotions of separation and guilt. • Suggested effective learning and discipline techniques according to each child's developmental needs, my observations and assessments assisted in determining that one child has Autism, as well as, other mental health issues. • A partnership with various agencies involved with family to reinforce positive parenting techniques, behavior modifications needed to assist with social and emotional behaviors. • Assisted with problem solving strategies Readied children for the day, choosing clothes, personal hygiene skills, (baths, teeth brushing, hand washing, diapers/toileting Demonstrated and guided children in all manners of positive behavior.

• I was the Site Supervisor/Head Teacher for a class of 19 children, I developed weekly lesson plans, developed individual educational plans, facilitated all learning areas for child initiated learning, implemented good practices in accordance with Head Start learning standards. • Case management services for prospective and enrolled families , to ensure eligibility and to provide program information in regards to all services Head Start had to offer. Including education, health, employment and housing issues that might impede our families success. • Developed and maintained confidential family files for education, and family services including intake, enrollment, and verification of income of all current and incoming families. • Conducted client assessments including those federally mandated for education, health and family services. After review of data, participants goals were set to motivate, and support our clients and ensure related resources were provided. • Served at risk class families, including clients with language barriers, socioeconomically disadvantaged, incarceration, and those with special needs. • Worked closely with community partners, office of education, and Child start administration to provide a team based family focused approach to serving our clients, • Clear concise recording of all client interactions, Data collection for statistical web based quality reviews, inter-agency collaboration and partnerships to ensure goals of self-sufficiency. • Familiar with monthly, quarterly, and yearly statistical reports

• Planned and implemented core learning objectives for 12 preschool children aged 2-4 year olds. • Provided after school instruction and support for children aged 5-12 year olds: organized Summer Camp activities and field trips • Routinely stepped in to aid in the running of the center, cooking for 60 children, cleaning and sanitizing the center. • Provided administrative support when needed, collected payments, answered phones, as well as, assisting with recruitment and fund raising efforts.
