I currently work as a finance apprentice attending college to complete my level 3 AAT. I work as part of the Financial Management team, proving assistance to management accountants within the Specialist Care Centre with monthly closedown procedures, to ensure the financial position is correct and the budgets and timescales are met. I do this by reviewing our accruals and prepayments on expenditure and accruals and prepayment on income. Other tasks involves, collecting relevant data and figures by running several reports and completing relevant procedures on a weekly basis. To then process journals to put the center in their position ready for reviewing. · In my roles I use skills such as communication, problem solving, IT and training using the financial systems knowledge to improve my skills.
