* Responsible for the management of run rate business of the team, this includes the generation of standard quotes and commercial offers, the determination of statement of costs including the negotiation for preferential costs with established vendors and internal sources, the liaison of both internal and external stakeholders for the booking of orders and their subsequent deliveries and the tracking and monitoring of orders * To be the stand in or back up for the team when circumstances require. This will include but not be limited to sales activities as the incumbent may be tasked to manage simple client escalations and coordination of project deliverables. * Understanding of both the technologies involved and access to resources both internally and externally. * Conversant and cognizant of the clients' purchasing processes and the technology vendors' ordering processes. * Proactive and independent sales person who is motivated to drive offers to closure and a team player who is comfortable with working outside normal hours.
