I worked in the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, within the section on Medical Neuroendocrinology under Dr. Karel Pacak investigating the neuroendocrine tumors pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma. In my time here, I participated in clinical rounds, had the opportunity to observe a surgery and carried out a research project in the lab under a visiting post-doctoral fellow. I later presented the poster from our project at the 2014 NIH Summer Poster Day.
