Luke Millington

During this role I was responsible for maintaining the warehouse floor, ensuring drivers departed with all their parcels on time and repairing/ finding any damaged parcels. I was also required to solve problems that would arise on the shift such as finding missing parcels, sorting any returns or covering for any agency staff that had not attended. I was also required to interact with customers coming to collect or drop off deliveries maintaining a professional and helpful attitude.

In this role I had a variety of responsibilities, my primary role was to research organisations with the aims of creating a relationship in which we could then use to gain employment for one of our clients. My secondary role was to attend these meetings with the businesses I researched and challenge the perspectives of people who had a criminal conviction and convince employers to engage with us. Also, in this role I had to attend events and conferences representing the organisation. In this role, I was required to have excellent public speaking and interpersonal skills having to convey the message of the organisation to various people within the industry. Furthermore, as well as remotely researching companies, I was responsible for editing and storing client CV's and personal details, this required effective Excel and Database management skills.
