In conjunction a project setup by NASA, a team has been assembled and tasked with designing an experiment to test the applications of MR fluids in micro gravity for 30 days on the International Space Station and have it working autonomously for this time period. I was part of the programming team, headed the electrical circuit design and was in charge of the 3D design of the mechanical system. Alongside several undergraduates and professors, we guided especially gifted high school students to make sure the experiment is performed to it max proficiency. The data collected will be extracted and analysed to provide NASA with the necessary steps in moving forward in the field of the applications of smart fluids in space.

Worked on training a convolutional neural network and implementing image processing techniques such as HoG features SVM training and Bag of Features to identify and classify specific group of microscopic cells. This research project was was awarded to high achieving ambitious students to and develop their skills in machine learning and computer vision to develop working well-trained neural networks.

In both a class and a 1-on-1 setting I am teaching Object Oriented Programming to experienced programmers in the language of C# using Visual Studio. Also helping students code and learn JavaScript and Ruby programs

* Played a key role working with the automation team in the design and improvement of the automated systems that operate the hydroponic systems designed used. * Built the prototypes of these systems from scratch. * Creating isolated environments to test a range of different sensors that were later used in some of our automated systems. * Programmed the the automated systems to be more efficient. * Fixed critical issues with the the code that was being implemented and electronic components being used. * Talked with other teams in the company using our system to solve design issues and to make more user friendly.
