BIW Chief Project Engineer | Cars in production Small and Commercial cars Latin America: - Technical root cause investigating failure modes of quality/performance occured on product on field reported by clients, supported by components specialists and designers team; - Negotiation and alignment with the Stakeholders (Purchasing team, Cost Engineering team, Suppliers, Manufacturing Team and others), to draw the best technical and costs scenario to solve issues and implement the modifications with less impact to the program, in matter of time, quality and budget; - Interface with Quality Team and/or Customer Experience Team to attend to/improve customer satisfaction with product, leading analysis to determine the successful aspects of the project and opportunities for improvement; - Cost Optimization Strategies - Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements, without decrease the performance and quality of the product to client's delivery;

Project Chief focused on Value Optimization at Upperbody BIW/BSI Team LATAM > Achieved over R$3 Millions/Year of financial saving due proposals of cost reduction (over Upperbody components), implemented under my management; > Representant at LATAM Program Manager at Global Cost Out Comitee of FCA Group, focused on studies and sharing the tracking of cost reduction solutions applied local (Latin America) and with other regions of the group; - Responsible for implement, manage, and lead continuous improvement for Cost Optimization; - Search for new suppliers solutions in market to new product solutions focusing on economics savings; - Negotiate planning and costs impacts with suppliers and stakeholder, facilitating communication to ensure their awareness of details that may affect their areas; - Verify accordance to the policies, standards, and processes established by the Cost Optimization Local and Global Committee; - Report status of proposals in development and implementation to area coordinator in order to follow-up until the anual closing values; - Offer daily guidance in overseeing all projects related to cost optimization as outlined by the Cost Optimization Committee, including reporting project status in comparison to established targets.
