OMJ is a private sector facility launched in 2007 to support through loans, guarantees and grants innovative private sector solutions to serve the BoP (Base of the Pyramid) markets in Latin America and the Caribbean. Since the launch in 2007, OMJ team has approved 60 operations in 18 countries (including Haiti) for US$ 400 Million. Launched and managed a global network of New Ventures local centers in China, India, Indonesia, Mexico and Brazil. New Ventures local centers enabled the growth of environmentally focused entrepreneurs in emerging markets. To date, New Ventures has provided support to 362 innovative small and medium enterprises whose goods and services produce clear, measurable environmental benefits, such as clean energy, efficient water use, and sustainable agriculture. National Environmental Fund - the largest environmental fund in Latin America in 1999. FNMA had 40 professionals and US$ 75 million to support environmental activities in sectors such as waste solid management, biodiversity conservation, reforestation and ecotourism across Brazil. We had over 100 projects approved in 18 months.

Selected to participate in the Leadership in Environment and Development - LEAD Fellow Program in 1993. Member of the 3rd Cohort of professionals which were chosen from candidates in 5 different sectors - Academia, Civil Society, Private Sector, Government and Media - of the Brazilian society. The international training sessions took place in Costa Rica, Thailand and Zimbabwe over the course of 2 years sponsored by the Rockefeller Foundation. Built an extensive international network among sustainability professionals across the 70 countries which are current members of the LEAD Network.
