Lovat Inc. is a Canadian-based world leader in the custom design and manufacture of Tunnel Boring Machines (TBM) utilized in the construction of tunnels for the transportation, sewer and water main, mining and telecommunication industries. As an Electrical Designer, I was responsible for the development, installation, testing and maintenance of complete power, electrical and electronic control and monitoring systems for TBM. I developed specifications for PLC programs and electrical systems. While on site I was responsible for providing PLC technical support, troubleshooting functions on electrical and control systems. I also offered consultation, technical assistance and training to the clients technicians on the electrical and control systems
