As a Software Engineer at Liven, my work consisted of developing and maintaining high traffic distributed telecom platforms. • Redesigned and implemented a Python telecom framework to improve performance using asynchronous I/O and a multiprocessing architecture. When combined with other team initiatives, this resulted in a 100x throughput improvement on the same hardware • Implemented observability in distributed systems, including Prometheus metrics and Loki log aggregation • Designed and implemented load tests using k6 to identify bottlenecks and plan improvements to a telecom platform. Including infrastructure, test scripts and the Go k6 extension for the protocols we were using
