Responsible for managing the lifecycle of purchase orders and ensuring the flow of materials to production lines. The Buyer I serves as the primary liaison between the global supply chain and the operational needs of the plant in Mexico, ensuring that components arrive on time, in the correct form, and at the best possible cost. -Purchase Order Management: Placing, tracking, and confirming purchase orders for electronic components and indirect materials based on MRP requirements. -Supply Assurance: Constant monitoring of inventory levels to prevent production line stoppages and coordination of critical deliveries with suppliers. -Supplier Management: Evaluating supplier performance (OTD - On-Time Delivery) and negotiating lead times to optimize supply chain agility. -Data Analysis: Handling exceptions in the ERP system to adjust delivery dates, quantities, or cancellations in accordance with fluctuations in customer demand. -Interdepartmental Collaboration: Working closely with the Warehouse, Quality, and Planning departments to resolve billing discrepancies or material returns (RMA). -Cost Optimization: Identifying cost-saving opportunities and supporting the implementation of inventory strategies such as VMI or Kanban.

Responsible for the administration, maintenance and optimization of the databases of the purchasing area, ensuring the availability and accuracy of information related to suppliers, products and purchase orders. Implementation of solutions to improve efficiency in inventory management and order processing. Close collaboration with purchasing and logistics departments to ensure the continuous flow of products. -Writing and Management of metrics related to the purchasing area. -Creation of daily, weekly and monthly reports and graphs for purchasing and planning management. -Use and mastery of Office packages. -Use and mastery of SAP. -Monitoring and generating status of purchase orders. -Leadership and teamwork.

Management and handling of the Outgoing Quality Control staff, provide solutions to doubts that may arise with the members of the department, conduct training and trainings seeking to develop the skills of the team. -Also, perform root cause analysis of the different problems, defects or customer complaints that may arise in the material or processes. -Internal audits of the area's personnel, and 5'S. -Implementation of KPI's, Management Systems and their follow-up. -Drafting, implementation and follow-up of Warning Card's.

- Audit production lines, documentation in auditable areas, packaging and shipments. - Filling of audit forms, check list, product release. - Use of Microsoft office, and SAP. - Internal staff audits, and 5'S. - Tracking and solution of findings, handling of QRAP, 5 Why's, and 8'D. - Validation and interpretation of components, MPI, BOOM, LAYOUT, DRAWING, internal and external requirements. - Strictly comply with quality control standards, as well as ensure that production staff adhere to established instructions.
