Leading ElmediX's engineering division, my role as Chief Technology Officer has played a crucial role in advancing development of our medical device for oncological thermal treatment. I lead a multidisciplinary team that has developed strong technical skills through extensive work on thermal modeling, designing and manufacturing of implantable temperature sensors, and medical devices for whole body hyperthermia. R&D Engineer
- Design, biocompatible packaging and testing of an invasive sensor for the accurate and precise monitoring of the temperature of internal organs. - Design, development and testing of a medical device for delivering whole body hyperthermia (WBH) for the treatment of cancer in adult human. - Finite element modelling of heat exchanges under a forced convective airflow. - Technical supervision of the device during human and veterinary clinical trials. - Technical supervision and design of preclinical studies to validate safety and efficacy of WBH in rodent studies.
