Lucy Andrews

Quality Assurance Manager at Macadamias Direct, a major macadamia processing facility in the Northern Rivers region. My role centers around leading our quality and food safety program to meet the highest standards of GSFI compliance. I graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor's Degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition, which built a strong foundation in food science and regulatory standards. My background also includes experience in the Product & Packaging team at Mars Food Australia, where I gained valuable insights into large- scale production processes. I truly enjoy working as part of a team and thrive in collaborative environments where I can share knowledge and support others in delivering high- quality results. I'm passionate about quality assurance and food safety, with skills in GSFI standards, auditing, customer relations, product development, food science, and team management. Continuous improvement is at the heart of my work, and I'm always looking for ways to enhance quality and deliver the best to our customers.
