Systematically investigated the role of Wnt/Frizzled planar cell polarity signaling in mammalian neural development and underlying mechanisms at molecular and cellular levels. • Discovered novel roles of Frizzled3 gene in mouse neural development at both neuroanatomical and behavioral levels, and the molecular mechanism underlying Frizzled3 signaling. • Developed whole-mount tissue immunohistochemistry staining combined with 3D confocal microscopy for visualizing axonal tracts and nerves. • Expressed and purified Cre recombinase protein in E. coli, and tested its recombination efficiency in cultured cells and in mice. • Tutored 82 Ph.D. students in quantitative population genetics for the Principles of Genetics course.
