About
My interest in science and math began when I was a teenager. I had good influences. I still remember reading "A beautiful mind" by Silvia Nasar and being fascinated by John Nash's career and how determined he was to solve any problem. I decided to become a computer engineer. Since then, I am engaged with computers daily. I wrote code in C/C++, Java, Python, designed solutions for ontologies, optimization problems, distributed systems, and many other domains. 5 years ago, I was working for a vehicle tracking company, and they decided to move to the cloud (AWS). I embraced it and became one of its first cloud architects. This position gave me a lot of experience. I had to design applications using an always-increasing number of services: S3, VPC, EC2, SQS, Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito, CodeCommit, OpsWorks, etc. Then, I had the opportunity to work as a Software Development Manager. I learned tons of new things. Building software was just a part of it. I've learned agile, serving as a Scrum Master. I've read many books, helped the Product Owner to write user stories, draw story maps, improve meetings, fight for good quality software architecture. It's impressive to see a team's progress when we inspect and adapt, improve communication. There's always a lot to be done, and there's space for everyone. I believe writing good software is far from easy. I accept this as a challenge and the opportunity to be always a better professional. Senior DevOps Engineer
Remote
Working with Amazon Web Services, Terraform, PostgreSQL, Python, Powershell and CloudFormation. Designed some APIs with the Serverless Application model, written in Python and Javascript. Cost and security optimizations. along with various tasks. Telemetry and monitoring with datadog, prometheus, grafana. Incident handling with OpsGenie.

Software Development Manager
TechnoPartner
Curitiba e Região, Brasil
I've worked as a Scrum Master, helping the team to create a product intended for car insurance companies. I was involved in hiring a multifunctional team of 8 members and preparing them on Scrum. I've helped the Development Team to introduce TDD practices, code coverage analysis, and Clean Architecture. I've designed applications at the Cloud (AWS). I've written code in Go, Java, Python, used services like OpsWorks, API Gateway, Cognito, SQS, EC2, S3, etc. I've also guided the Product Owner to write and split User Stories, draw User Story Maps, organize the Product Backlog. I've also helped to design a Mobile for an IoT Network of 15.000+ devices.

Cloud Architect
Curitiba
I worked on Cloud platforms (mostly AWS). I designed virtual clouds, determined the right sizing for EC2 instances, and designed software in Java and Python to improve efficiency and reduced DynamoDB expenses. I also designed VPNs. CEABS had above 250.000 active devices connected through cellphone operators. CEABS was later acquired by Europ Assistance, and we helped the former reducing more than 50% of their monthly costs by improving practices and buying reservations. I also dived in DevOps. We introduced Continuous Integration and Release Automation using Visual Studio Online and AWS OpsWorks. All this led me to get promoted three times in two years and a half.

Software Developer
Curitiba
I was a Java developer at CEABS from 2013 to 2014. I worked with high available software, as: - TCP / UDP servers - Queue systems, producers and consumers - Application Layer interpretation for Telematics control unit manufacturers. - OTA - Over the air programming. I substantially improved my knowledge in designing highly available and consistent software products. I also increased my interpersonal skills, as I had to handle a lot of suppliers to get things solved.

Programmer
FUNTEF-PR
Between 2011 and 2013, I worked as a programmer at Funtef. Back then, I wrote software for the logistics of oil pipelines maintained by Petrobras. I wrote algorithms and data structures used at integer linear programming models. I also wrote some linear models using ILOG.

Graduate Research Intern
I worked with ontologies, more precisely writing software. I've designed software for ontology creation using Java and Jena. This experience made me learn a lot about Java, design patterns and what I could and what I couldn't in time considering my project ambitions.
