Duties – Autheo Layer One (Rust SDK Assignment) Architected and built the first Rust SDK for the Autheo Layer One blockchain, enabling seamless developer access to Autheo’s REST/JSON-RPC APIs. Designed type-safe client modules for all core on-chain data (accounts, tokens, transactions, etc.), using idiomatic async Rust and strong error handling. Developed comprehensive example apps (get_address, get_token, get_token_holders, send_transaction), each demonstrating real-world API calls, environment config, and result parsing. Wrote robust serialization/deserialization logic for Autheo’s on-chain data models, ensuring accurate translation between blockchain data and Rust types. Integrated environment-based config using .env for secure API key and network management. Implemented ABI encoding utilities (via ethers-rs) for contract calls and ERC-20 token transfers, including a helper for encoding calldata. Documented all SDK modules and examples with clear, developer-focused comments and workflow explanations. Iteratively debugged and refined API requests and error handling based on live testnet and devnet endpoints. Added automated input validation for all model structs (using validator), enforcing address/hash formats before submitting transactions. Supported API changes (e.g., parameter renaming, new required fields), keeping the SDK up-to-date and stable for integrators. Collaborated with PM/engineering to clarify endpoint behavior and ensure SDK coverage matched business priorities.
