About
Mining Engineer with 5 years of experience in Open Pit mining and focus on the following areas: - Drilling and Blast with Explosives; - Risk Management; - Implementation of Continuous Improvement Projects; - Mine Operation. Main results: - Implementation leader of the project "Mine to Plant" (Continuous Improvement); - Elaboration of vibration intensity research and induced damage caused by blasting process; - Dilution control through the implementation of dedicated timing; - Implementation of the wireless explosive initiation system (+10Mt of blasted mass with the use of technology without any misfire registered); - Application of the semi-autonomous drilling system - AutoDrill (+2M of meters drilled with the technology and increase of +20% of drilling rate); - Sizing of the drilling fleet with strategic vision concept (+8% increase of physical use in the fleet); - Implementation and management of critical risk prevention controls and process standardization. I have advanced domain in the most used data analysis tools (Excel and PowerBI), as well as three-dimensional analysis, planning software (Deswik, PIX4D, QGIS). Regarding the blasting process, I master and use in my daily routine the most advanced tools of timing (SHOTPlus) and dilution control (OREPro), in addition to managing all drilling and blast activities on a technical basis. Beyond Portuguese, my native language, I have fluent English and intermediate French.
