About

I work in preclinical drug discovery with a focus on oncology and immunology. My expertise is in 3D organoid culture derived from PDX and iPSC models, primary immune cells, and cell-based assays including viability, HTRF, and ELISA — applied to target validation and drug screening.I use these models to study mechanisms of action, resistance mechanisms, and signaling pathways. I enjoy troubleshooting complex experiments and I'm very hands-on in the lab.One thing I'm proud of is my ability to adapt quickly across different scientific areas — I've worked across oncology, stem cell biology, and immunology, and I find that breadth makes me a stronger, more creative scientist.Beyond the bench, I communicate my science clearly to different audiences — from cross-functional teams to senior leadership. I have presented my research at scientific conferences and to diverse audiences throughout my academic and industry career.I speak three languages fluently: Mandarin (native), French (native level), and English — an asset I've found valuable in collaborating across global teams and partnerships.

Our laboratory relocated to Mount Sinai in January 2022. I continue to work on the following projects: • Establish lung organoid culture from human pluripotent stem cells to study lung development and model lung diseases : Use hPSC-derived lung organoids and human lung cells to study the subcellular localization of TMPRSS2 and its implication in SRAS-CoV-2 infection • Dissecting the molecular mechanisms to generate uniformized organoids
