Building and leading a team of 18 engineers focused on wiring harnesses developments for regional and global platforms. Restructuring and qualifying Engineering for current projects and new launches. Budget management, preparation and control, including planning with long-term visibility. Unification of the Brazilian and Argentine engineering teams, integration of Philippine engineering, remodeling according to projects’ increased demand. Leading a team of 30 engineers, specialists, technicians, designers and analysts with a focus on product development, testing and their validation. Connection systems, electrical centers, electronic modules, SRS (Safety Restraint System), USB cables, produced from plastic injection processes, stamping, assemblies and automated processes. Customers: FCA, Continental, Ford, GMB, Hyundai, PSA, MAN, Magneti Marelli, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, VW. Audit management with customers, placing the company in the position of being a preferred and approved supplier, enabling the diversification and expansion of the unit's business. South America representative in the Global Engineering team. Budget management, preparation and control. Established synergy and integration for Laboratory activities with Hellermann Tyton (company acquired by Delphi). 30% increase in sales of engineering and laboratory services resulting from prospecting new customers. Leadership of global developments with Delphi-Poland (connection systems), Delphi-India (connection systems and electrical centers), Queretaro Tech Center-Mexico (electronic modules).

Responsible for supervising Product Engineering. Led a team of 11 people, being responsible for connection systems projects developments.

Responsible for coordinating a new development of wiring harnesses for a global VW platform, being the Brazilian representative in all customer meetings. Negotiations with different areas at VW and Delphi, as well German suppliers for contracting third parties, services, component and prototypes deliveries, prices, payments, schedule and deadlines to achieve project goals.

Responsible for new product developments to attend local and global markets, proposals regarding the most appropriate technical and economical components according to customer’s requirements (OEM’s and Tier’s I), responsible for validating shelf parts in order to increase sales, took part in a team working to improve and implement a new process workflow, representative in the quality system team, representative in audits. Customers: GM, Mercedes-Benz, PSA, Renault, VW, Continental, Magneti Marelli.

Responsible for improving the knowledge about European customers’ requirements, providing technical information of new developments and launches and their opportunities for business growth, responsible for establishing interaction between Brazil and German laboratories (special support to VW for new developments in Brazil), exchanging experiences, supporting quality issues and tooling quotation processes as well, improving communication between both regions. Invited to be part of Daimler and Opel product validation team, including negotiation with German suppliers.

Responsible for presenting customers the most appropriate technical and economic proposals, to increase local business, implement cost reduction proposals, coordinate new developments and consolidate knowledge about validation requirements, approval flow and official releases of VW and Mercedes-Benz.

Responsible for products such as cables, tapes, clips, convoluted conduits to the customers FCA, VW, GM and Mercedes-Benz. Activities related to component releases and approvals, development of new local suppliers with purchase and quality departments, took part in workshops for cost reduction analyses and implementation, technical support in general for wiring harnesses application.
