 Ensure the continuous supply of required materials into the plants in order to satisfy customer demand and meet business requirements.  Close cooperation with demand planners and the company's manufacturing facilities.  Control and optimize inventory and processes regarding the logistics costs and efficiency according to the agreed company targets.  KPI monitoring and improvement.  Regular reporting to local management and global HQ.  Manage operational procurement activities to achieve/exceed the agreed KPIs.  Actively participate in meetings and contribute internal (supply chain) communication providing updates on material availability for the production and customer delivery plans.  Coordinating with other departments including warehouse, planning, customer service, accounting, quality, engineering and sales etc.  Managing approval of PRs and POs according to the company policy.  Executing of the system suggestion for pull, push, cancellation.  Monitoring receipt of goods and services.  Accounts Payable (AP) management for the given supplier base (resolving invoice/PO match holds).  Ensure the proper entering of order confirmations into MRP system.  Ensure the contribution of the contractual terms with suppliers.  Manage and control Master Database.  First escalation point for the Site Materials Management in term of operational purchasing issues.  Lead and motivate a team with 12people.
