In my role as managing director, I oversee all areas of Abbotts Office Furniture; from managing staff; overseeing the retail environment; selecting new products from local and overseas suppliers; developing new product ranges; managing clients (from home office and SMEs to large corporate clients) as well as designing work spaces. I began working in the family business in 1999 as a sales manager and took over the helm of the business in 2010. Established in 1978, Abbotts Office Furniture provides clients with a wide range of quality workstations, storage solutions, meeting furniture and seating for home, office and executive environments. We work with architects, interior designers, project managers, office managers, builders and the general public. Our range includes chairs, desks, workstations, tables, screens, storage office fit out & design. Abbotts can deliver and install ready-made stock items within days or design custom-made office furniture to order. Our showroom in Burwood Road, Hawthorn displays an extensive range of modern boardroom and executive chairs made locally and overseas. We have chairs in stock for quick delivery. We also manufacture our own ranges, allowing clients to custom make chairs and select from hundreds of upholstery options. We back our excellent designs with up to 10-year warranties.
