Kevalee International School is a school situated in the suburban area of Minburi, Bangkok, Thailand. It has been in service since 1996, and was founded by a well-respected and well-loved Mrs. Penporn Boontanrart or Mrs. Juliana Kevalee. The School is accredited by Thailand's Ministry of Education, and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). It takes pride in its small-class size, affordable tuition fees, quality teaching, and a warm, caring environment. I also take pride in Kevalee International School where I spent two years of intensive training and experience teaching different kinds of learners. My main role was to teach English Language Arts to middle school students ages 11-15 (Grades 6,7, and 8). I also taught sixth graders, my Homeroom Class, Values and Health. In addition, I taught Theater Arts with another teacher. Together, we handled middle school students with various artistic talents. The School has given me countless opportunities to expand my knowledge and competencies about teaching. One of the most important, for me, was to teach children with special needs. The School scheduled special classes designed specifically for our students with special needs. I was one of the teachers given the responsibility to design programs that will help students with special needs learn English and specific life skills that will help them survive and be contributing members of the society. Although I mainly handled middle school students, the School also gave me a chance to teach Mathematics to elementary students, and do remedial and substitution classes to kindergarten and high school students. I also managed the Music and Theater Arts club of the School, where art enthusiasts flocked. Teaching these young minds and learning from them expanded my horizon as a teacher.

The Literacy Ladder is a reading intervention and enrichment center located both in Manila and Quezon City, Philippines. It was founded in 2016 by certified reading specialists Ms. Kembell Lentejas and Mrs. Fides Lladoc-Mendoza. In three years, the Center has established its name in the field of education, specifically in reading intervention and enrichment. I am one of the fortunate teachers to become one of its earliest members. During my service in the center, I was given the main role of teaching students that need reading enrichment. Most of my students are from St. Stephen's High School, where the Manila center is located. I handled elementary to high school students, and taught them key reading strategies, spelling, vocabulary, and academic writing.
