Leading and motivating a team of high performing professionals responsible for developing and implementing the Mayor’s regeneration strategies and policies. Maintaining an inclusive team culture, with a focus on staff development, and on equality and diversity. Supporting the development of the GLA family’s wider spatial development work, drawing on complementary skills and activities within and beyond the Regeneration team.

Responsibility for development and implementation of programmes and projects which promote urban regeneration and economic growth in the North West area, including relationship management with key partners, and team development. Direction and oversight of the Mayor's Good Growth Fund, a £70m pan London regeneration programme. Responsibility for outreach, appraisal, and securing support and approval of the Mayor, the Deputy Mayor for Planning, Regeneration and Skills, and the LEAP. Strategic lead on the GLA's Street and Covered Markets agenda, with responsibility for establishment of the first ever London Markets Board, oversight of sector specific research, and delivery of the 10th International Public Markets Conference in 2019.

Helping deliver complex projects which promote urban regeneration and economic growth across London by working with partners to secure physical change and economic growth. Responsible for delivery of £28m GLA support for regeneration in Tottenham. Leading on development of strategies to addresses the complex challenge of accommodating 1 million new Londoners while maintaining space for jobs and growth on London high streets.

Helping deliver GLA's £50m Outer London Fund. Leading on and enabling the delivery of projects through collaboration with borough partners and consultants. Providing advice on place making, design quality management and regeneration to senior colleagues across the GLA Group, external delivery partners and sponsors.

Provided strategic advice to clients on area and street based initiatives. Contributed to research initiatives and networks, including contributions to AHRC funded network Street life and Street culture; expert advisory panel member CIVITAS funded research New Road, Brighton; peer reviewer Department for Transport Shared Space Transport Advisory Leaflet; session tutor University of Bath.

Defined and led innovative street design programme at CABE. Represented CABE at a high level and brokered multi agency agreements to deliver initiatives and influence policy agendas. Grew and managed portfolio of public realm projects. Shared responsiblity for planning, strategic direction and financial management of CABE Space enabling programme. Also responsible for line management and staff development.

Worked on urban design policy, provided advice on major projects and contributed to council public space projects. Carried out comprehensive urban design analysis for the Kingston town centre Area Action Plan. This analysis formed the basis of proposals approved by Kingston Council in March 2007.

An interdisciplinary centre promoting better coordination between built environment professionals and improved design of neighbourhoods, towns and cities.

BA studies focused on design and sociology aspects of planning practice.

Diploma in Environmental Resource Management covered a range of subjects, from Environmental Impact Assessment, to strategic landscape management, through to European and Irish planning law and environmental design.
