Louis Welch

An 8-week summer internship at Charles River Development, a State Street Company. I have undertaken a wide variety of projects, including an analysis of a potential partner in tokenisation; a market survey; a cadence study on Jira, which I then automated; and a solution for an automated organisational chart mapping the product to engineering team.

Working as Treasurer, I have created sustainable budgets for the different roles of the JCR, coordinated expenditure and reimbursement, and constructed plans to create external relationships for mutual benefit.

Conducted research and formulated recommendation on value proposition strategy for a leading UK retailer. Worked in a team of 8 to create a presentation that the client could use internally.

Worked part-time over holidays preparing sales proformas, invoices, and sales summaries for quarterly VAT. Involved in project management alongside this, liaising with clients and members of the supply chain. Designed and implemented improved communication and stock tracking methods through Excel.
