• Manage the IT function for seven (7) subsidiaries on a day-to-day operational basis • Manage IT department with one (1) IT manager and four (4) IT subordinates of the Group • Responsible for IT budget allocation, IT purchase control, vendor sourcing • Liaison, evaluation and price negotiation with suppliers • Responsible for investigate and improvement of network security (Firewall, proxy, network switches VLAN, VPN, Global Domain Directory, etc.) • Development and implement of new Group IT Policies for all seven (7) subsidiaries • Ensure the Group policies and procedures comply with Internal and External IT audit as well as BSKL standard requirement • Weekly site visit to subsidiaries at Batang Kali, Rawang • Lead IT monthly meeting and job on hand, user request, repair and maintenance. • Provide time to time guidance and on job training to staff Achievements:- • Successfully reduce External IT auditor comments from 24 items to 8 items with minimum cost involved • Reduced numbers of Server Domain from each subsidiary to Global Domain controller • Prepared and executed Group IT policies, internet access restrictions policies, files sharing control, users’ profiles limitation and email restrictions policies • Improved in Production server (IAFM) • Coordinate with production, real-time data capture and customize program with vendor • Setup ERP budget and ERP project committee for (7) subsidiaries • Implementation of ERP project (full cycle) • Internet cost saving from RM53,376 to RM28,800 • Negotiated with vendor for Group centralize purchase price

• Manage the Group IT Department • Responsible for IT budget proposal and allocation• Oversee Headquarters’ of IT operational programs and processes, include 82 computers and 6 servers, namely file server (WIN 2003), domain server (WIN 2003), email server (Linux), proxy server (Linux), thin client server (Linux) and anti-spam server (Linux) • Proposed and executed new ERP system to simplify and improve their reporting format from Microsoft Excel • Liaison with ERP consultant on ERP solution includes planning and implementation for HQ and branches, scheduling, data migration, UAT and etc • Supervise and monitor branches’ IT personals work performance and daily work task for Klang, Ipoh and Ayer Tawar Achievements:- • Resolve major problem on telecommunication with Telekom Malaysia with regards to upgrading existing copper line, ISDN PRI and wireless lease line, and contributed to a cost saving of RM36,000 per year • Successfully reduce 8 servers to 5 servers by increasing file server capacity and improving its performance • Centralized system file, security and domain controller which had speed up network searching time and simplified network sharing for users • Introduced and implemented a new disaster recovery plan and daily backup files for the entire Group • Implemented new spam mail server, restrict email transactions (restrict sending of email more than 10MB)
