My responsibilities were to oversee the staffing and management of two after hour clinics, the nurse line, and interface with the directors of the local emergency rooms. I also did utilization review for ER claims

ECI staffed the emergency room at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK and owned a free standing urgent care center. Our hospital was a regional trauma center with its own helicopter service. Our annual volume was about 50,000 patients. At our urgent care center, we saw about 25,000 patients. 40% of our business was Workers Comp. We also had contracts to provide onsite Work Comp medical care at two local companies, McDonnell Douglas and Kimberly Clark

I trained as both a Flight Surgeon and Undersea Medical officer. I was stationed in Pensacola except for the 6 months of Undersea Medical training which was in Groton, CT and Washington, DC. The last 15 months of my tour was as the Senior Medical Officer/Flight Officer of the USS Lexington, a training aircraft carrier

Emcare is a company that contracts to staff hospital emergency rooms. I was one of four RMD who partnered with the business side of the company to help manage these contracts. I initially lived in Pittsburgh, PA where I oversaw a group of hospitals in the Northeast. Then I relocated to Dallas where I oversaw hospitals in the Missouri, NM, and Texas markets and worked on projects at the home office
