For all my life, I have had a passion for learning. In 4th grade, armed only with a book from the public library, I created a HTML site dedicated to my favorite comic book character, Tintin. A few years later, I taught myself to solve a Rubik's cube and won a speed-cubing contest, earning the opportunity to meet the man himself, Ernő Rubik (as well as an inexplicably present David Blaine). In recent times, my passion has been aimed at web development. At a highly-selective programming bootcamp in NYC, I developed my abilities in Ruby, Rails, JavaScript, and Backbone.js, acquiring enough knowledge to build a RESTful single-page application by the end of the course. My next step is to take my technical skills to a team-oriented, cutting-edge tech company. My hopes are twofold --- one, to contribute my unique background and philosophy to the growth of a company, and two, to continue on my journey as a lifelong learner.
