Henry Phipps Plaza South, New York, NY – The main scope of work for this project is mold remediation in 404 occupied spaces as well as addressing asbestos remediation of the wet walls. Complete masonry facade and window replacement on the 33-story tower and facade and window repairs on the adjacent 14-story building. Complete roof replacement on both buildings. Repainting, plumbing repairs, new tub surrounds, partial VAT replacement and wall repairs in both buildings. Intricate phasing and coordination of various trades will be integral to the project’s success as the buildings will remain occupied during the renovation. Lafayette Houses, New York, NY – Replacement of a 30,000 gallon underground fuel oil storage tank and remediation of asbestos and contaminated soil. Estimated construction cost $750,000.
