Served on numerous councils and advisory committees as an advocate for youth voice and worked to develop strategies to engage local youth and sustain a youth movement. Primarily worked with transition age youth.

Assisted teacher and other aides in classroom setting and utilized both ABA and floor time intervention methods to teach children with autism behavioral modification skills. Documented and reported behaviors and tracked progress.

Assisted youth experiencing homelessness in creating resumes, conducting job searches, developing life skills, and connecting them with community resources. Managed a full case load, completed intakes, progress notes, and care coordination paperwork. Also, managed a weekly group for participants focusing on employment, education and life goals. Conducted outreach to community business owners and other child and adult serving agencies to build partnerships and to create resources.

Effectively managed time on multiple contracts. Assisted National Federation of Families for Children's Mental Health (NFFCMH) chapters with creating and sustaining youth groups and involving youth on governing boards. Developed and managed a diverse youth track at the NFFCMH s annual conference. Contracted part-time with the Technical Assistance Partnership as a resource specialist to system of care communities, providing information and trainings about youth involvement and youth-driven policies and care. Contracted part-time as the Youth Outreach Director for the Caring for Every Child s Mental Health Campaign. Assisted in creating and presenting social marketing trainings geared towards youth; including trainings on public speaking and youth roles within social marketing. Reviewed and assisted in the development of products created for children and youth within systems of care.

Led state-wide efforts to engage transition age youth in leadership and system transformation opportunities. Promoted system of care values and philosophy at the state and local level. Provided cross-system training and resources to Behavioral Health Organizations (BHOs), the Juvenile Justice Administration, Behavioral health agencies, and other organizations to promote and support the development of a peer workforce. Led focus groups to gather information for the development of materials, training curriculum's and the development of youth voice and the youth partner s role in Wraparound with Intensive Services (WISe). Served as the lead youth trainer and content expert regarding youth voice and the roles of peers within the WISe model. Provided support and resources to communities and agencies regarding product development, training opportunities and best practices in regard to youth leadership and voice within the wraparound process. Assisted organizations in developing job descriptions and supportive materials for Certified Peer Counselors.
