About
Extensive experience establishing, representing and managing public charities and private foundations as legal counsel, board director, and advisor including over seven years’ experience as general counsel at National Audubon Society and twenty-one years as senior legal counsel at Princeton University. I am passionate about making the world a more humane and sane place and am privileged to have a job that furthers the issues of highest importance to me-the environment, climate and conservation. I am committed to providing strategic and practical advice in the philanthropic and public policy arena- to getting things done. I just led the Wenner-Gren Foundation, whose board I chair, through an innovative strategic planning process. I once applied for a job because it listed sense of humor as key. Integrity is also key. The best part of my current job is the environmental litigation. Degrees include a Masters in Tax, a JD and a BA in Art History.
