About
I have worked for over 30 years as a consultant, teacher, district employee and researcher with schools and organizations serving at risk students. My primary focus is working with underperforming schools and districts in creating sustainable and systemic change that results in improved student achievement. In partnership with my clients, I complete a needs assessment, assist in developing a comprehensive action plan featuring research based strategies, and continue to support clients as they develop capacity to implement and monitor their plan. I also provide technical assistance to schools and groups of educators in data-driven decision making. I am the lead author of the publication, Developing an Effective School Plan: An Activity-Based Guide to Understanding Your School and Improving Student Outcomes. I frequently do workshops, presentations and district level support based on this publication.
