Automation Engineer / PLC Programmer with hands-on experience in industrial automation, robotics, and motion control for pharmaceutical packaging machinery. I work across the full machine lifecycle, from software development and virtual commissioning to on-site start-up and production handover. Core activities and responsibilities: - PLC and HMI software development and offline testing - Virtual commissioning and machine simulation - On-site start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting - Electrical panel and field I/O testing - Robot programming, points teaching, and cycle optimization - Sensor and actuator tuning under production-like conditions Technologies and expertise: - Siemens PLCs and HMIs (TIA Portal, WinCC) - Stäubli robotic cell design, simulation, and integration - Motion control and multi-axis synchronization (electronic gearing and camming) - Servo drive configuration, tuning, and diagnostics - PackML-compliant machine development - Integration of third-party industrial systems I regularly take part in FAT and SAT activities, on-site commissioning, fault analysis, and operator training, working closely with electrical, mechanical, and process engineering teams. I am particularly interested in international automation projects and I am open to relocation and overseas opportunities.
