Loren Stoddard
CEO and Founder @ Veridicor
About
With 30+ years of global leadership across Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Central Asia, I’ve helped governments, investors, and companies navigate some of the world’s most complex development environments, often in post-conflict or high-risk markets. My work has mobilized over $6 billion in public and private capital across energy, agriculture, trade, and governance. What sets my approach apart is how I build trust, not just with institutions but with the people who determine whether a project succeeds or fails: tribal leaders, rural women, village elders, and local entrepreneurs. From electrifying more than 15,000 health clinics through Power Africa’s HETA initiative to transitioning coca farmers to cacao in the Andes, I’ve seen firsthand that stakeholder trust is not a luxury. It is the foundation of operational success. Some highlights: 🔷 Led USAID’s $500 million Sudan program, reaching five million people through agriculture, stabilization, and smart voucher systems 🔷 Co-founded “Cacao for Peace” and the “Peru Cacao Alliance” to build peace through sustainable markets 🔷 Brokered over $3 billion in energy deals and advised the U.S. contribution to the $8 billion G7 Just Energy Transition Today, I’m the Founder and CEO of Veridicor, a company that helps businesses earn their License to Operate through real-time, boots-on-the-ground stakeholder insights. We don’t guess where you stand with stakeholders, we measure it. Learn more 👉 veridicor.com
