I started in BTL by taking part at the designing of various prototypes for new products to be used as a base for new devices mainly using Solid Works. Newly established research and development center for the development of medical products in the field of medical recovery, aesthetics and physiotherapy. Within the mechanical department, I design the products according to the requirements and specification from marketing department and in permanent collaboration with hardware and software departments for the implementation of automatic functionalities. Role: -developing piping and equipment layouts, piping design, typically assembly, sanitary and fire fighting system in Autocad; -calculation notes wall thickness according European and ASME norms; -elaboration of piping technical specifications according to the international rules and standards (ANSI,ASTM, BS, DIN, etc.); -data sheets of mechanical systems and components such as pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, unit heaters, valves, tanks, skid for demi water production; -building 2D piping model including equipment 3D model, structural parts and piping additional supports. -2D model review and clash checking resolution; -final documentation: Piping isometric, piping & supports specifications, MTO, BOM, painting & insulation specification, sections and detailed layouts for special components; -site working: site survey activities regarding establishment of tie-in points for dismantling lines and equipment’s and routing for new lines.
