Provided individual, group, and milieu psychotherapy to adults living with severe, chronic, and persistent mental disorders as well as co-occurring substance abuse issues. Facilitated support group, men's group, and pre-vocational training. Co-facilitated smoking cessation group, art therapy program, and yoga group.

Provided therapy to children and adolescents, between the ages of 4-17, and their families. Much of the work involved exploring the client’s goals through play therapy and kinesthetic drawings. Motivational interviewing skills were utilized with parents and children during CANS (Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths) assessments. Collaborated with staff psychiatrist for client medication management. Trained and efficient in Avatar, an electronic health record and integrated billing information system for the city of San Francisco.

Focused on the Night Watch program which provides after hours crisis intervention counseling services to mental health agencies when they are closed for evenings and weekends. Offered support to people in times of crisis and worked to prevent the attempt of those who were actively seeking suicide. Authorized to provide referrals to callers for local clinics, hospitals and shelters. Assisted with group training, participated in weekly clinical meetings and was directly responsible for two trainees.

Providing family and individual psychotherapy to children and teens in foster care (age 0-18) as a means to reduce symptoms and impacts of separation, improve family functioning, promote positive parent-child interactions, and teach positive parenting skills to support family reunification. Services also include: assessing (CANS), administering and scoring outcome measures, treatment planning, tracking client/family progress, writing progress notes, managing client's chart, Medi-Cal compliance, collaborating with treatment team for purpose of case management and Katie A services, individual rehabilitation, and collateral sessions with parents/legal guardians to review and practice parenting skills.
