GovTech, SCTD Division – Edge Team As part of the Edge Team, I contributed to DECADA, a nation-wide, production-grade IoT platform deployed across Singapore, supporting live data collection through edge gateways integrated with AWS services. My responsibilities included: - Automating routine tasks with bash scripts to streamline system maintenance. - Assisting with infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible. - Working on AWS Lambda functions and writing unit tests to validate functionality and maintain code quality. - Debugging and resolving issues in the AWS Greengrass C++ components of IoT gateways - Contributed to maintaining and structuring GitLab CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment workflows. This role provided hands-on experience in system maintenance, DevOps practices, and collaboration within an Agile environment.

I was offered by my academic supervisor to continue working in this in-house project that I was involved in during my internship. During my stay, I continued to refine the Therapeutic Pet Robot project and assisted subsequent batches of junior in onboarding the project. I also collaborated with a colleague to develop and implement the code for a new project. My responsibilities included writing the code and designing the PCB according to the project needs specified by my colleague.

Enrolled into Singapore Polytechnic through the Polytechnic Foundation Programme (PFP) and graduated with a Diploma with Merit.
