I began my career in 1989 at CGH Medical Center while doing my Medical Laboratory Technician internship..I was hired by CGH and began working in the clinical laboratory shortly after passing the state boards. After 1 year working in the clinical laboratory I began training, under the direct supervision of a pathologist, in the anatomic pathology laboratory. After passing the histotechnology state boards in 1991 I continued to work at CGH Medical Center in the anatomic pathology department until September 2015. I was promoted to Lead Histotechnician at CGH Medical Center in August 2012.
