I am an interdisciplinary researcher & leader committed to unlocking human potential across youth development, education, mental health, and performance coaching. With more than a decade of experience spanning organizational leadership, program design, sales training, mentoring, and entertainment, I bring a unique lens to how people grow, communicate, and thrive.My career has taken me from trauma-informed rehabilitation to sales leadership to designing financial literacy and STEM programs for thousands of students across Southeast Michigan. Today, I serve as a Professional Mentor with Friends of the Children–Detroit, walking alongside youth for 12.5 years as they build resilience, identity, and new possibilities for their futures.Across every role, my work is rooted in creating long-term impact through relationships, culturally responsive practices, and transformational experiences. I specialize in helping people strengthen their confidence, communication, and decision-making, whether they are children navigating adversity, teens preparing for adulthood, teams striving for alignment, or communities seeking equitable access to opportunity.Currently pursuing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I am committed to expanding mental wellness as we fly into our new tomorrow. As a Professional Mentor "Friend" at Friends of the Children Detroit, I am dedicated to impacting generational change by empowering youth who are facing the greatest obstacles. My core responsibility is to build and nurture a long-term, unconditional relationships with youth for 12.5 years, no matter what, starting in kindergarten or first grade. This "power of one" relationship is the foundation upon which we help youth create a new story. My work is primarily conducted throughout the community, meeting youth in their homes, schools, and communities, and planning meaningful activities to achieve each child's goals. I am committed to putting children first, listening to our youth, and basing decisions on their needs and dreams, fostering their internal resiliency. The role requires building relationships based on love, acceptance, trust, empathy, and healthy communication.
