Lead Crew Starship Engineer

- Led the structures and mechanism engineering team responsible for Starship lunar landing legs, solar arrays, and other large mechanisms. Responsible for development of primary/secondary structures, mechanisms, and solar hardware that will help take humans back to the Moon and beyond. - Drove lunar landing analysis, including dynamic simulations, hardware analysis, vehicle performance estimates, and landing site monte carlos.

Lead Propulsion Engineer - Raptor

-Built a team of structures, mechanical and propulsion engineers and led the team in the design and analysis of thermal protection systems for the Raptor rocket engine and Starship/Super Heavy vehicle aft end heatshields. Team was responsible for the development of next gen thermal protection system architectures through conceptualization, test, build, integration, flight, and refurbishment. - Developed full scale test systems to qualify hardware for space flight and atmospheric reentry. - Helped to build a production facility from the ground up to produce flight sets of hardware at previously unprecedented pace. - Led recruiting and hiring efforts to grow the team - Responsible engineer for design, analysis, and test on numerous components, owning designs from conceptualization to integration onto the world's largest rocket.

Owned numerous parts from conceptualization through test and certification for crewed flight. -Designed and fabricated numerous development and qualification test fixtures to validate hardware for flight. Extensive experience with test derivation and operation. -Led development and aerial drop testing for the Dragon parachute system and components -In-flight technical lead for over a dozen parachute drop tests using UH-60 Blackhawk & C-130 aircraft -Supported ocean recovery and fast boat operations for Crew Dragon's In Flight Abort Flight Test and initial crewed missions returning astronauts from the International Space Station
