From a young age, I remember appreciating the quote "curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back." I enjoy asking unique questions to further my knowledge of the world. Many of these questions center around the theme of "How can I improve this area? What can make this a better system?" This ranges from rearranging my living room furniture to improving organization as my sorority's treasurer to questioning existing business practices. The field of business analytics is where my natural restorative and learner strengths will prove to be essential in helping businesses create optimal organization. My learned skills come from my coursework in information systems management and supply chain management electives. From these courses, communication is emphasized to improve logistics and efficiency along with maintaining and improving customer satisfaction. My combination of natural ability and learned skills are assets to any business looking to achieve their vision and mission statements.

Cooper Green Mercy Hospital strives to be a leader of the Jefferson County community healthcare systems by providing medical specialties to all residents regardless of their ability to pay. While I worked as a summer intern, I contributed to their mission and their goals for their vision by providing organizational skills and observational skills. Part of the organizing involved sorting through older, functional technology to create space for newer technologies to improve patient care. I was able to observe procedures at UAB and Children's Hospital. These skills allowed me to increase my problem-solving abilities to provide the hospital with better solutions.
