Responsible for handling UL, CSA, TUV, ETL, and SGS product listings, file changes, file withdrawals, and variation notices, for files maintained by TTI. Interface daily with all new product and mature product design engineers concerning issues and schedules related to regulatory listings. Analyze and evaluate new product constructions and effectively communicate how well they do or do not comply with the appropriate standard(s).

Responsible and accountable for developing expertise in all standards that apply to new and complex product development programs and support of mature products. Interfacing with all necessary agency offices to obtain regulatory listings on all products deemed necessary to have a listing. Provides technology leadership for functional area and communicates when needed while managing multiple project loads.

As an ACDC, Handheld Lab Technician 4 at TTI, I fulfill test requests from engineers on various products. Some skills I have developed from this job are troubleshooting, soldering, thermocouple applications, and computer applications such as word and excel.

I was a Tech Scholar for Electrolux during a semester at Tri-County Technical College. During my time at Electrolux I worked on the floor with the maintenance team. I spent most of my time working with the reliability team where I learned techniques in reliability maintenance such as thermal imaging, lubrication analysis, and oscilloscope applications.
