I am a Food scientist working at De Vegetarische Slager / The Vegeterian Butcher as Operational Director. In the past I have worked for the multinationals Mars and Unilever, and made the step to De Vegetarische Slager in order to follow my passion for sustainable food. In my current job I use the experience I gained in my previous jobs where I have coordinated food innovation projects, optimized food processes, developed new food products and have been a production manager. This was for various brands and products such as Suzi Wan, Knorr Ragu and Knorr Wereldgerechten (meal kits), Chicken Tonight and the organic brand Seeds of Change. I have a passion for sustainability and am interested in good food, such as organic food, fair trade food, GMO-free food, and all discussion around these matters.
