➤ Identifying then executing over 50 real estate development legislative and regulatory solutions for the Board of Directors, the CEO, and 15 Committees and work groups, streamlining the Association's programmatic operations. ➤ Overseeing and mobilizing members on the Association's Inclusionary Zoning and Comprehensive Plan zoning advocacy, increasing member engagement by 30%, while also working with local government with respect to strategic efforts. ➤ Guiding a 5-year-long, multimillion-dollar architectural design and construction management community service construction project of DC parks along with the recreation centers and fields in Wards 4, 5, 7, and 8, reducing project costs by 25% through donation of construction materials. ➤ Providing direct oversight of and direction to dozens of real estate, government, community stakeholders, and 450-1,000 volunteers, playing a large part in facilitating the real estate industry's impact on the D.C. community. ➤ Drafting or editing articles, reports, summaries, regulations, and legislation pertinent to the mission of the DCBIA, including industry-specific articles for Pipeline, Spotlight, and other DCBIA publications. ➤ Rebranding the 45+ year-old Association, and promoting the program through presentations to communities or entities, producing and marketing 30 educational seminars, advocacy sessions, and networking events yearly, while customizing member service delivery and event profitability. ➤ Marketing, fundraising, and serving as the VIP liaison for 5 annual real estate industry achievement award galas, with 800 to 1K attendees, as well as developing the themes, and producing program agendas, scripts, and videos. ➤ Increasing event profitability by 25% through vendor management, sponsorship arrangements, expense reduction, and in-house marketing solutions, including working in Canva or InDesign to create emergency marketing materials such as flyers.

➤ Built the agency's fiscal, programmatic, and forensic audit protocols, and overhauled financial reporting, which increased visibility for agency Managers, as well as led to receiving a promotion to Chief of Staff, launching legislative affairs and stakeholder engagement programs. ➤ Directed the day-to-day and public-facing legislative and reform strategy of this 500-employee, $120MM District government agency during a period of agency reform, uncertainty, and high regional unemployment and several Federal government shutdowns. ➤ Improved operational capacity, implementing agency rebranding, reforming service delivery, and transforming agency culture, while re-engaging 1,000 agency employers and returning 8,300 District residents back to work in 2 years post-Great Recession. ➤ Supported all program areas pertaining to agency operations, intergovernmental cross-cutting initiatives, and performance management, as well as developed legislative initiatives and policy positions, recommending strategies and tactics on bills. ➤ Participated in interviewing, hiring, and training agency staff, directing work and appraising performance, addressing complaints, investigations, and resolving problems, while ensuring each team member was focused on carrying out goals. ➤ Monitored legislative activity and handled long- and short-term legislative planning while executing the agency's unified messaging and technology solutions for U.S. Department of Labor's American Recovery and Reinvestment Act unemployment insurance extensions. ➤ Prepared at least 70 testimonies before the Council of the District of Columbia, as well as designed stakeholder engagement activities with employees, ANCs, civic associations, think tanks, educational organizations, businesses, and DC residents.
