Graduated from Butler County Community College in May 2014 with an Associates Degree in Photography. Currently most of the work I have done has been for myself as an artist. The photographic areas I am interested in gaining more involvement in professionally are landscape, fashion/glamour, family portrait work including engagements and newborns, photojournalism, and nature/travel. I directly began InnerCircleHoops from a big idea on a seemingly ordinary summer day. I had been hula hooping for about a year when I decided that I wanted to share the bliss I got from hula hooping with the world. I sought to do this by offering custom affordable hula-hoops. Little did I realize that I would forever reflect back on that summer day as a turning point in my young life! It has been almost three years since InnerCircleHoops first hoop was created. Along the way I have experienced the trial and error of owning a small business and have taught myself most of what I know today. This includes the financial and legal aspects such as book keeping and protecting my business. I am proud to say that because of my dedication to this small idea I am quickly becoming a young successful entrepreneur. Skills I have gained by owning my small business: -Simple knowledge of product photography and editing for website size constraints. -How to keep a website organized, current, and customer friendly. -How to keep systematized sales records through filing. -Communication skills by explaining and discussing my products to potential customers in an outgoing manner. -How to address a variety of customers through online communication in a well-timed manner. -How to effectively meet order deadlines by utilizing time management skills.

I greeted, served, and assisted customers in a fast paced environment, while remaining focused and positive. I learned how to operate a cash register efficiently and manage multiple orders. I also gained knowledge in customer service by effectively addressing customer complaints with a respectful and positive attitude. I kept the store sanitary and organized during both opening and closing shifts.

Extensively photographed DJ's and party goers in Pittsburgh's underground nightlife scene for the electronic music site lolli.org. I would cover events that were any where from four to eight hours in length, process the images within 48hours, and upload the approved images to the site. These quick turn around times required self discipline and efficiency.
