Child Welfare Services Manager (CWSM) assigned to the Placement Resources Division managing central placement operations, Continuum of Care Reform implementation, and various child welfare programs including oversight of FFA's, STRTP's, Wraparound, Kinship Centers, Faith in Motion, and AB 1299.

Supervising Social Services Practitioner overseeing the Jurisdiction/Disposition (JD) Unit who investigates Welfare and Institutions Code allegations, determines initial service delivery and assesses family functioning to determine the most appropriate level of Court intervention. Prior to the supervising the JD unit, provided supervision to an intake unit, responsible for investigating initial reports of child abuse and neglect and assessing for appropriate intervention to stabilize families in crisis.

Training and Development Specialist assigned to staff development and training for county child welfare workers/ Children and Family Services (CFS) staff. Students included professional-level social workers (with graduate MSW and MFT degrees), as well as upper-level management and administrative staff.

Social Service Practitioner for county child welfare services with responsibilities including: investigation and risk assessment of referrals, case management and linking with service providers and agencies to coordinate the needs and services of clients, writing reports to assess client progress, served as Regional Issues Committee representative and participated in intake meetings.

House Manager for two foster care residential placement homes where residents are being treated for emotional and behavioral problems with responsibilities including case management, crisis intervention through counseling techniques and behavior modification plans, writing behavior assessments and quarterly reports, training and directing new staff members, payroll assistance and data entry for Rate Classification Level state forms.

Youth Prevention Specialist for the substance abuse prevention program, Friday Night Live, with tasks including program implementation, planning and conducting leadership trainings and information meetings, community outreach, social action projects and extracurricular activities for at-risk youth.
