team I worked solving user’s incidents escalated from L1, this usually required a lot of investigation and deep knowledge of application’s business rules. I had to collaborate with a lot of people in order to provide a definitive solution to the reported issues. We used tools like Data Studio for querying DB2, and multiple Agile tools including Mural.co, Slack, as well as some Agile practices like Standups, Retrospectives, Kanban, Wall of Work, etc.

I supported batch job runs, and performed data maintenance activities. The work came in through tickets transferred by other teams in the project or via RTC work items. I had to provide an end to end solution to the requirements assigned to me, in some cases this involved running an existing data job or creating a new one. The language used was PHP and KSH, as for DB we used DB2.

During my time as a microcontroller developer I dedicated to the construction of a telemetry project, this consisted of placing multiple sensors (thermal, humidity both air and ground, as well as other kind of sensors) in greenhouses, these sensors would communicate via radio waves to a device which would translate the signals to information on a screen, the interface was written in C# language. This was a real-time monitoring system for the sensors in the greenhouse. The firmware was written in C language.

I was in charge of executing the commands to run jobs and monitor their progress until completion, reporting any issues to the appropriate teams. The work came via a Change Request form and I worked in conjunction with a Developer to get the jobs executed and verified.
