Led frontier technology development in AI large models for bioinformatics and translational biomedical research for Multi-Cancer Early Detection (MCED) projects. Focused on the synergistic regulation of cell-free multiomics and the application of transformer-based generative models for cfDNA. Developed AI-driven approaches for biomarker discovery and novel computational models to enhance the understanding of cfDNA at the single-molecule level. Aimed to significantly improve the performance of conventional assays by integrating multiomic data with advanced AI methodologies.

Led project management, technology development, and R&D team organization for a multi-disciplinary Early Cancer Detection (MCED) project. Developed a patented novel technique for cfDNA methylation sequencing, overcoming key challenges in bisulfite-free enzymatic conversion for cell-free DNA applications. Managed and optimized high-throughput library preparation workflows, enabling processing of over 1,000 samples per month. Designed and implemented a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for handling thousands of samples and millions of NGS entries, leveraging low-code development platforms and web-based interfaces.

(Center for Life Science, BIOPIC, Sunney Xie lab) Developed a single-cell DNA methylation assay for high-sensitivity and scalable methylome analysis, integrating Tn5-based library preparation with bisulfite-free enzymatic conversion. Established sci-Cabernet, a high-throughput single-cell indexing method that enables parallel library construction for thousands of single cells at substantially lower costs using automated processing. Conducted cancer-specific methylation marker screening through laser capture microdissection of tumor cells and high-coverage methylome sequencing. Performed comprehensive bioinformatics analysis, identifying differentially methylated regions (DMRs) in human endogenous retroviruses (HERVs) and other repeat elements, challenging the conventional view of the "junk genome."

Understand and detail technological innovations spearheading global IVD industry. Conduct research, prepare main introduction documentation and assist in localization of a gene-sequencing unicorn company. Research and develop case studies of fast-growing IVD and NGS companies.
