Hi, I'm Liyan! I am a highly motivated individual with a genuine passion for understanding the complexities of the pharmaceutical world. I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Cardiovascular Health and Disease at the University of Manchester, building on my background as a Pharmaceutical Science graduate with a particular focus on the characterisation of novel polysaccharides and their potential applications in wound healing treatments. I have gained hands-on experience in advanced analytical techniques, including gas chromatography, gel electrophoresis, and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). Alongside my technical expertise, I have developed strong problem-solving and communication skills, thriving in both independent and team-based environments where my strong work ethic ensures efficient and effective collaboration. Beyond academia, I have demonstrated adaptability and a proactive approach in diverse roles spanning pharmacy, supplementary education, the café industry, and childcare.
