I have to take prospective families on a tour around campus where I need to have knowledge of the University and what it offers. I have to prepare a small talk whereby I discuss my course to prospective students and parents, and I also discuss the media centre at the University as I am a member who frequently uses it.

Member of the PR team, responsible for promoting the USPs of five diverse beauty brands to top beauty journalists and beauty bloggers. Assisting and helping with the logistics at press events and attending to high-influence journalist beauty directors. Significant events included LCM SS17 [London Collections Men] and BAFTA 2016 where polished communication and event management skills were required. Writing and constructing creative e-blasts that are adapted to suit the tone of voice and style for each brand before being issued to media to drive coverage and brand awareness. Pitching well-crafted ideas to journalists. Undertaking daily press office admin responsibilities such as save and secure coverage, compile coverage reports, weekly product stock checks and ordering.

I run my own weekly radio show on Loughborough Campus Radio. I have to prepare a playlist, topics of conversation and information about the University. I try to organise for guests to come on the show whether it is for an interview or a live music performance. I also prepare interviews for them. I have to manage to control board and the microphones while on air.

Liaising with journalists, writing press releases, assisting with the process of signing off press releases and any press related requests. Daily news summaries set to a tight deadline. Communicating with an array of people either within the company or professionals external to the company.

I have to deal with customers' requests, be knowledgable about where I work and what we offer. I have to work as a team, be efficient, punctual, versatile, good communication skills on the phone/ till/ customers/ work colleagues.
