Senior Vice President @ Foley Family Farms

About

For more than 30 years, I have led complex, multi-site agricultural operations across California, Oregon, and Washington, with a deep and personal commitment to water, land, and the communities that depend on both.I am a senior operations executive with experience managing large-scale, direct-operated permanent crop and diversified agricultural portfolios for family-owned agricultural businesses. My work has centered on P&L ownership, capital allocation, cross-functional planning, and the operational discipline required to deliver consistent returns on long-duration agricultural assets. My approach to operations is grounded in science: an M.S. in Environmental Horticulture from UC Davis, and decades of applied work in sustainable and regenerative land management. I have built sustainability compliance infrastructure at scale, led water strategy in evolving SGMA-constrained geographies, and managed grower and supply networks across hundreds of relationships. I understand that good stewardship and good long-term business performance are the same goal pursued through the same discipline. At the center of everything I do is a commitment to people. I lead as a servant leader: building teams that are capable, confident, and cared for, and developing the next generation of agricultural leaders who will carry this work forward. The organizations I am most proud of are the ones where the team got better because we worked together.I am most motivated by mission-driven, place-based organizations where operational excellence is understood as a form of long-term stewardship: where the decisions made in the field today protect the value of the land and the people who depend on it for generations to come.
